In paragraphs 15 (f) and 16 (c) of its resolution 55/199, the General Assembly decided that the Commission should decide on the specific modalities of the future sessions of the Commission acting as the preparatory committee, including matters related to the accreditation for participation in the preparatory process and the Summit of relevant non-governmental organizations not in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council.
