1. An Assembly of States Parties to this Treaty is hereby established to improve the capacity of States Parties to promote the implementation of the Treaty.

This Treaty shall not be cited as grounds for voiding contractual obligations under defence cooperation agreements concluded by States Parties to this Treaty.
لا يجوز الاحتجاج بهذه المعاهدة كمسوغ لإبطال الالتزامات التعاقدية المترتبة على اتفاقات التعاون في مجال الدفاع التي أبرمتها الدول الأطراف في هذه المعاهدة.

I should like to call on nations that have not yet done so to promptly become Parties to this Treaty so as to realize its early effectuation.

وما زالت كندا تؤكد ضرورة صون واحترام الضمانات الأمنية السلبية التي قدمتها الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية إلى الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية الأطراف في هذه المعاهدة.

The States Parties to this Treaty (hereinafter referred to as the " Parties " ), have agreed as follows:
اتفقت الدول الأطراف في هذه المعاهدة (يُشار إليها فيما يلي بكلمة " الأطراف " ) على ما يلي:

" 1. Each of the Parties to this Treaty undertakes to prohibit, to prevent, and not to carry out any nuclear weapon test explosion, or any other nuclear explosion, at any place under its jurisdiction or control:

While recognizing the ongoing consultations between the States Parties to this Treaty and the nuclear—weapon States, I would like to take this occasion to express our hope that the nuclear—weapon States will undertake necessary measures to sign and ratify the protocol at the earliest possible date.
وفي الوقت الذي أدرك فيه أن المشاورات جارية بين الدول الأطراف في هذه المعاهدة والدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية، فإنني أود أن أنتهز هذه المناسبة كي أعرب عن أملي في أن تتخذ الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية التدابير اللازمة للتوقيع والتصديق على البروتوكول في أقرب موعد ممكن.

If a suspicion arises against any State Party to the Treaty that it is violating the Treaty, the suspecting State Party, or a group of the suspecting State Parties to this Treaty shall conduct consultations and cooperate with the suspected State Party to this Treaty in order to settle down the aroused suspicion.
إذا كان هناك اشتباه بأن أية دولة من الدول الأطراف في هذه المعاهدة تنتهك أحكامها، يجب على الدولة الطرف المشتبِهة، أو مجموعة من الدول الأطراف المشتبِهة، أن تُجري مشاورات وأن تتعاون مع الدولة الطرف المشتبه بها من أجل حل مسألة هذا الاشتباه.

With Brazil’s accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, all States in the zone are now Parties to this Treaty.
وبانضمام البرازيل إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، أصبحت جميع دول المنطقة حاليا أطرافا في هذه المعاهدة.

With Brazil’s accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), all member States of the zone are now Parties to this Treaty.
وبانضمام البرازيل إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، أصبحت جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في المنطقة أطرافا في هذه المعاهدة.
