12. Under article 6 of the Optional Protocol, if the Committee received reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State party of rights set forth in the Convention, the Committee would invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention and rule 82 of its rules of procedure, the Committee decided to invite the State Party to cooperate in the examination of such information, a copy of which was sent to the State party on 5 April 2007, and to submit its observations in that regard to the Committee by 30 April 2007.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention, if the Committee receives reliable information which appears to it to contain well-founded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and, to that end, to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention, if the Committee receives reliable information which appears to it to contain well-founded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.
