The Special Committee, having examined the question of St. Helena, reaffirms the inalienable right of the people of St. Helena to self-determination and independence in conformity with the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960.
١ - إن اللجنة الخاصة، وقد درست مسألة سانت هيلانة، تؤكد من جديد حق شعب سانت هيلانة غير القابل للتصرف في تقرير المصير والاستقلال وفقا ﻹعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الوارد في قرار الجمعية العامة ٤١٥١ )د - ١٥( المؤرخ ١٤ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٦٠.

1. The Special Committee, having examined the question of St. Helena, reaffirms the inalienable right of the people of St. Helena to self-determination and independence in conformity with the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960.
١ - إن اللجنة الخاصة، بعد أن درست مسألة سانت هيلانة، تؤكد من جديد حق شعب سانت هيلانة غير القابل للتصرف في تقرير المصير والاستقلال وفقا ﻹعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الوارد في قرار الجمعية العامة ٤١٥١ )د - ١٥( المؤرخ ١٤ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٦٠.

However, pursuant to paragraph 2 of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV), self-determination was limited by the principle of territorial integrity.

By paragraph 3 (9) (c) of the programme of action for the full implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in General Assembly resolution 2621 (XXV) of 12 October 1970, the Assembly directed the Special Committee to continue to hold meetings away from Headquarters as appropriate.

Reaffirming the importance, for the effective guarantee and observance of human rights, of the universal realization of the right of peoples to self-determination enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and embodied in the International Covenants on Human Rights, as well as in the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples contained in General Assembly resolution 151
إذ تؤكد مجددا أهمية الإعمال العالمي لحق الشعوب في تقرير المصير المكرس في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والمنصوص عليه في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان() وفي إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الوارد في قرار الجمعية العامة

Recommends that all States intensify their efforts within the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system of which they are members to ensure the full and effective implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV), and other relevant resolutions of the United Nations;
3 - يوصـي بأن تكثــف جميع الدول جهودها في إطار الوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات الأخرى في منظومة الأمم المتحدة التي هي أعضاء فيها لضمان التنفيذ التام والفعال لإعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الوارد في قرار الجمعية العامة 1514 (د - 15) وغيره من قرارات الأمم المتحدة المتخذة في هذا الصدد؛

3.
