The United Nations health insurance programmes provide for premium sharing between the United Nations and plan participants (active and retired) in accordance with General Assembly resolutions 1095 (XI) of 27 February 1957, 38/235 of 20 December 1983 and 41/209 of 11 December 1986, as follows (in percentages):
