In accordance with General Assembly resolution 52/56, the Subcommittee continued its consideration of the item on planetary exploration and the item on astronomy.

As for the matters relating to life science, including space medicine, as well as planetary exploration and astronomy, the Subcommittee heard interesting and informative special presentations.
