Rejects the application of such measures as tools for political or economic pressure against any country, particularly against developing countries, because of their negative effects on the realization of all human rights of vast sectors of their populations, inter alia, children, women, the elderly, disabled and ill people;
3- ترفض تطبيق هذه التدابير كأدوات للضغط سياسياً أو اقتصادياً على أي بلد، ولا سيما على البلدان النامية، لما لها من آثار سلبية على إعمال كافة حقوق الإنسان لشرائح عريضة من سكانها، بمن فيهم الأطفال والنساء والمسنون والمعوقون والمرضى؛

To do this, powerful countries should refrain from practicing hegemonic policies through either political or economic pressure.
ولكي نفعل ذلك، ينبغي أن تمتنع البلدان القوية عن ممارسة سياسات الهيمنة سواء من خلال الضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي.

The Government expressed its concern over the continued use of unilateral coercive measures by certain powers as tools of political or economic pressure against any country, particularly against developing countries, with a view to preventing those countries from exercising their right to decide of their own free will, their own political, economic and social systems.
وأعربت الحكومة عن قلقها إزاء استمرار بعض القوى في استخدام التدابير القسرية المتخذة من جانب واحد كأدوات للضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي على أي بلد، ولا سيما على البلدان النامية، وذلك بهدف منعها من ممارسة حقها في أن تقرر بمحض إرادتها نظمها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

Concerned over the implementation of such measures, the Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the continued imposition of economic sanctions by some Powers as tools of political or economic pressure against some developing countries, with a view to preventing those countries from exercising their right to decide, of their own free will, their own political, economic and social systems.
ويساور جمهورية إيران الإسلامية القلق من تنفيذ هذه التدابير، لذلك فهي تدين استمرار فرض الجزاءات الاقتصادية من جانب بعض القوى كأدوات للضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي ضد بعض البلدان النامية بهدف منعها من ممارسة حقها في أن تقرر، بمحض إرادتها، نظمها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

ولاحظت أن التدابير القسرية تُستخدم كأداة لممارسة الضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي على البلدان التي لديها آراء معارضة.

The use of unilateral coercive measures as a means of exerting political or economic pressure is an obvious breach of those principles and it adversely affects the enjoyment of human rights.
واستخدام التدابير القسرية الانفرادية كوسيلة لممارسة الضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي هو انتهاك لا ريب فيه لهذه المبادئ وله تأثير سلبي على التمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان.

They observed that such measures were used as a tool for political or economic pressure against countries with opposing views, to prevent those countries from exercising their right to decide, of their own free will, their own political, economic and social systems and posed obstacles to international relations and trade.
