In noting the reluctance of international financial organizations to effect any real change in their policies, we feel it necessary to endorse such change and to consider the creation of new international financial instruments that would allow us to fund development projects to fight poverty and hunger in the world and generate true options for progress.

The fight against poverty and hunger in the world, with a global plan monitored by the United Nations as an international convention, higher and fairer remuneration for commodities or natural resources extracted from developing countries and technical support to poor States would contribute greatly to eliminating social inequalities and the social seedbed and support of those who prefer violence.
وإن محاربة الفقر والجوع في العالم من خلال خطة عالمية تشرف عليها الأمم المتحدة باعتبارها اتفاقيه دولية، ودفع أسعار أعلى وأكثر إنصافا للسلع أو الموارد الطبيعية المستخرجة من البلدان النامية، وتقديم الدعم التقني للدول الفقيرة مسائل من شأنها أن تسهم كثيرا في القضاء على الفوارق الاجتماعية وعلى التربة الاجتماعية والدعم المقدم إلى لذين يفضلون العنف.

The General Committee also brings to the attention of the General Assembly that, pursuant to paragraph 7 of the annex to resolution 58/126, the theme " The impact of the global food crisis on poverty and hunger in the world as well as the need to democratize the United Nations " has been proposed for the general debate at the sixty-third session.

The General Committee may also wish to bring to the attention of the General Assembly that, pursuant to paragraph 7 of the annex to resolution 58/126, the theme " The impact of the global food crisis on poverty and hunger in the world as well as the need to democratize the United Nations " has been proposed for the general debate at the sixty-third session.
20 - وقد يود المكتب أيضا توجيه انتباه الجمعية العامة إلى أنه عملا بالفقرة 7 من مرفق القرار 58/126، اقترح للمناقشة العامة في الدورة الثالثة والستين موضوع " أثر أزمة الغذاء العالمية على الفقر والجوع في العالم وضرورة جعل الأمم المتحدة أكثر ديمقراطية " .

That is why we must combine our efforts to eradicate poverty and hunger in the world and to deal with endemic diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, and to put an end to injustices, violations of human rights and all forms of discrimination and intolerance.
ولذلك يجب أن نضافر جهودنا بغية استئصال شأفة الفقر والجوع في العالم والتصدي للأمراض المتوطنة مثل فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/متلازمة نقص المناعة المكتسب (الإيدز)، ووضع حد لأعمال الظلم وانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان وكل أشكال التمييز والتعصب.

Encourage and support the creation of spaces for participative and democratic discussions, with the presence of producers of codified knowledge (the academia) and of tacit knowledge (the communities), of the Legislative and Executive Powers and of private companies, for the exchange of experiences, methods and sharing of good socioeconomic practices capable of eradicating poverty and hunger in the world.
(ب) تشجيع ودعم العمل على تهيئة أماكن لإجراء مناقشات تقوم على المشاركة الديمقراطية يحضرها منتجو المعارف المدونة (الأكاديميات) والمعارف الضمنية (المجتمعات المحلية) والسلطتان التشريعية والتنفيذية والشركات الخاصة وتبادل الخبرات والتعرف على الأساليب والممارسات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية الجيدة القادرة على القضاء على الفقر والجوع في العالم.
