32. At the 28th meeting, on 27 November, the Chairman of the Committee introduced a draft decision entitled " presentation of estimates of staff assessment " (A/C.5/57/L.19, draft decision III). At the same meeting, the Committee adopted the draft decision without a vote (see para. 80, draft decision XI).

With regard to the presentation of estimates of staff assessment (A/57/464), his delegation shared the view that the simplification achieved by some agencies in utilizing alternative presentations had to be weighed against the resulting impact on transparency and comparability of information presented in the budget.
