3. Each State Party shall consider providing for the possibility, in accordance with fundamental principles of its domestic law, of granting immunity from prosecution to a person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence covered by this Convention.
3- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تنظر في امكانية منح الحصانة من الملاحقة لأي شخص يقدم عونا كبيرا في عمليات التحقيق أو الملاحقة المتعلقة بجرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية، وفقا للمبادىء الأساسية لقانونها الداخلي.

1- تنظر كل دولة طرف في إتاحة إمكانية اللجوء، في الحالات المناسبة، إلى تخفيف عقوبة الشخص المتهم الذي يقدم عونا كبيرا في إجراءات التحقيق أو الملاحقة بشأن جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية.

2- تنظر كل دولة طرف في أن تتيح، في الحالات المناسبة، إمكانية تخفيف عقوبة المتهم الذي يقدم عونا كبيرا في عمليات التحقيق أو الملاحقة بشأن فعل مجرّم وفقا لهذه الاتفاقية.

Parties are in particular required under paragraphs 2 and 3 of article 26 to consider providing for the possibility of mitigated punishment and of immunity from prosecution to a person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence established pursuant to the Convention.
