The experience of recent years has convinced us that the Organization is still far from complying with the General Assembly's request in its resolution 52/214 of 22 December 1997, namely, that " the texts of all new public documents, in all six official languages, and information materials of the United Nations [be] made available through the United Nations Web site daily " .
وقد تبيّن لنا من تجربة السنوات الماضية أن الطريق لا يزال طويلا قبل أن تتوصل المنظمة إلى تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة الذي يطلب فيه " أن تتاح يوميا عن طريق موقع الأمم المتحدة على الشبكة العالمية نصوص جميع الوثائق العامة الجديدة، والمواد الإعلامية للأمم المتحدة، باللغات الرسمية الست جميعها " .

23. Welcomes the ongoing efforts of the Department of Public Information to enhance multilingualism in all its activities, and stresses the importance of fully implementing its resolution 61/266 in ensuring that the texts of all new public documents in all six official languages and information materials of the United Nations are made available daily through the United Nations website and are accessible to Member States without delay;
