The Commission expressed concern about the backlog relating to the Yearbook of the International Law Commission, noting that the late publication of the Yearbook in the official languages of the United Nations had a negative impact on the work of the Commission, as well as in the teaching, training, research, dissemination and wider appreciation of the codification efforts of international law undertaken by the Commission.
