30. At its twenty-sixth session, the General Assembly considered the report of the Special Committee on the Rationalization of the Procedures and Organization of the General Assembly and, by resolution 2837 (XXVI) of 17 December 1971, decided:

39. At its thirty-fourth session, the General Assembly, by decision 34/401 of 21 September, 25 October, 29 November and 12 December 1979, adopted a number of provisions concerning the Rationalization of the Procedures and Organization of the Assembly.
