(g) To submit to the General Assembly at its fifty-third session a report on the situation of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation who are imprisoned, missing or held in a country against their will, on cases that have been successfully settled, and on the implementation of the measures referred to in the present resolution.

6. Requests the Secretary-General, through an appropriate United Nations body, to submit a report to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session on the progress made in improving global road safety and the issues referred to in the present resolution, also taking into consideration the views expressed during the meetings on 14 and 15 April 2004;
6 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم، من خلال الهيئة المختصة في الأمم المتحدة، تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الستين عن التقدم المحرز في تعزيز السلامة على الطرق على الصعيد العالمي وعن المسائل المشار إليها في هذا القرار آخذا في الاعتبار أيضا الآراء المعرب عنها في الاجتماعين المزمع عقدهما في 14 و 15 نيسان/أبريل 2004؛

Calls upon all other parties involved in armed conflicts to refrain from abducting humanitarian personnel or United Nations and its associated personnel or detaining them in violation of the relevant conventions referred to in the present resolution and applicable international humanitarian law, and speedily to release, without harm or requirement of concession, any abductee or detainee;

5. Requests the Secretary-General to seek assurances from Member States that amounts payable to beneficiaries for incidents referred to in the present resolution shall be not less than the amounts paid or reimbursed to Member States for this purpose under paragraphs 1 (a) and (b) above, so as to avoid unequal treatment of contingent troops by Member States;
٥ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يسعى إلى الحصول على ضمانات من الدول اﻷعضاء بألا تقل المبالغ المدفوعة إلى المستفيدين تعويضا عن الحوادث المشار إليها في هذا القرار عن المبالغ المدفوعة أو المسددة إلى الدول اﻷعضاء لهذا الغرض بموجب الفقرتين ١ )أ( و )ب( أعلاه، تفاديا لمعاملة جنود الوحدات معاملة غير متساوية من جانب الدول اﻷعضاء؛

8. Requests the Executive Secretary of ECLAC to continue to intensify, in the general context of the reform process of the United Nations in the economic, social and related areas, reform measures referred to in the present resolution and in Commission resolution 553 (XXVI) and to report thereon to the Commission at its next session, to be held in Aruba in April 1998.
٨ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة أن يواصل، في السياق العام لعملية إصلاح اﻷمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة بهما، تكثيف تدابير اﻹصلاح المشار إليها في هذا القرار وفي قرار اللجنة ٣٥٥ )د - ٦٢( وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى اللجنة في دورتها القادمة، التي ستعقد في أروبا في نيسان/أبريل ٨٩٩١.

8. Requests the Executive Secretary of the Commission to continue to intensify, in the general context of the reform process of the United Nations in the economic, social and related areas, the reform measures referred to in the present resolution and in Commission resolution 553 (XXVI) and to report thereon to the Commission at its next session, to be held at Aruba in April 1998.
٨ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة أن يواصل، في السياق العام لعملية إصلاح اﻷمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة بهما، تكثيف تدابير اﻹصلاح المشار إليها في هذا القرار وفي قرار اللجنة ٣٥٥ )د - ٦٢( وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى اللجنة في دورتها القادمة، التي ستعقد في أروبا في نيسان/أبريل ٨٩٩١.
