وقد قرر المؤتمر العام في دورتــه التاسعــــة (المقرر م ع-9/م-13) أن يكــون حجــم صنــدوق رأس المال المتداول 000 610 6 دولار، وأن تظل الأغـراض المـأذون بها للصـندوق لفترة السنتين 2002-2003 على ما كانت عليه في فترة السنتين 2000-2001، أي وفقا لما تنص عليه الفقـرة (ب) من المقـرر م ع-2/م-27.
