The present report is submitted in compliance with General Assembly resolution 56/106 of 14 December 2001, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to take all necessary measures for the implementation of that resolution and to report thereon to the Assembly at its fifty-seventh session.
1 - يُقَدَّم هذا التقرير امتثالا لقرار الجمعية العامة 56/106، المؤرخ 14 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، الذي طلبت فيه الجمعية إلى الأمين العام أن يتخذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لتنفيذ ذلك القرار وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى الجمعية في دورتها السابعة والخمسين.

2. The General Assembly called upon the Secretary-General to continue to mobilize international humanitarian, rehabilitation and reconstruction assistance for Somalia, to apprise the Economic and Social Council at its substantive session of 1995 of the progress made in the implementation of the resolution and to report thereon to the Assembly at its fiftieth session.
٢ - وطلبت الجمعية العامة كذلك إلى اﻷمين العام أن يواصل على الصعيد الدولي تعبئة المساعدة اﻹنسانية ومساعدات اﻹنعاش والتعمير للصومال وأن يطلع المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في دورته الموضوعية لعام ١٩٩٥ على التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ القرار وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين.
