The Economic and Social Council noted those developments in its resolution 1997/33, adopted on the recommendation of the Commission at its sixth session, to which was annexed the text of elements of responsible crime prevention: standards and norms.
٦٣- ولاحظ المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي هذه التطورات في قراره ٧٩٩١/٣٣، الذي أعتمد بناء على توصية اللجنة في دورتها السادسة، وأرفق به نص عن " عناصر منع الجريمة بصورة مسؤولة: المعايير والقواعد " .

In its resolution 1997/33, the Commission adopted on the recommendation of the Commission and entitled “Elements of responsible crime prevention: standards and norms”, the Economic and Social Council, inter alia, considered that an international effort was necessary to develop an effective strategy, and took note of the preliminary draft of elements of the standards and norms annexed to the resolution.

Two reports of the Secretary-General are being submitted to the Commission at its tenth session: one report on standards and norms, which also integrates reporting obligations on violence against women, elements or responsible crime prevention as well as victims of crime and abuse of power, and another report on the sixth quinquennial report on capital punishment.
وسيقَدَّم إليها في دورتها العاشرة تقريران من الأمين العام: أحدهما بشأن المعايير والقواعد، ويتناول أيضا الالتزامات بتقديم التقارير عن العنف ضد المرأة وعناصر منع الجريمة بطريقة مسؤولة وكذلك مسألة ضحايا الإجرام وإساءة استعمال السلطة، والآخر حول التقرير السادس الذي يقدم كل خمس سنوات بشأن عقوبة الإعدام.
