In recognition of this, UNDP has updated Chapter IV of its strategic plan to emphasize the principle of national leadership and ownership of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework, and the need for the resident coordinator (with the support of the United Nations country team) to report to national authorities on progress made against the results agreed in the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF).
