On 19 April 2013, the State party informed the Committee that in December 2004 the First Municipal Court of Belgrade had issued a judgement holding the Republic of Serbia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro jointly liable to pay Radivoje and Vesna Ristic 500,000 dinars each for non-pecuniary damages.
