Mr. Bamba (Côte d'Ivoire) said that, following United Nations-certified elections in December 2011, at its inaugural session in March 2012 the newly elected National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire had elected Guillaume Soro as President of the Assembly and established all bodies required for its proper functioning, thus marking an end to the process of putting in place the legislative, executive and judicial branches.
