13. Urges the pro tempore secretariat of the Third Space Conference of the Americas to disseminate this Declaration and the other conclusions of the Conference to bilateral and multilateral forums and organizations;

At the request of the Government of Mexico, the Programme provided support to the working group on space technology at the Sixth Space Conference of the Americas, held in Pachuca, Mexico, from 15 to 19 November 2010.

In its resolution 58/89, the General Assembly noted the desire of Member States of the region to institutionalize the Space Conference of the Americas.
و أحاطت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 58/59، برغبة الدول الأعضاء في المنطقة في تأسيس مؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء.

Participants suggested that a mechanism should be considered to increase awareness of developments in national legislation and collaborative mechanisms for cooperation, with the assistance of regional efforts such as those of the Space Conference of the Americas.
واقترح المشاركون النظر في إنشاء آلية لإذكاء الوعي بالتطورات في التشريعات الوطنية والآليات الجماعية للتعاون، بالاستعانة بالجهود الإقليمية ومنها مثلاً الجهود التي تُبذل في إطار مؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء.

The Committee noted that the General Assembly, in paragraph 41 of its resolution 58/89, had agreed that, during its consideration of the item on ways and means of maintaining outer space for peaceful purposes, the Committee could consider ways to promote regional and interregional cooperation based on experiences stemming from the Space Conference of the Americas.
55- ولاحظت اللجنة أن الجمعية العامة، في الفقرة 41 من قرارها 58/89، اتفقت على أنه يمكن للجنة، أثناء نظرها في سبل ووسائل الحفاظ على الفضاء الخارجي للأغراض السلمية، أن تنظر في سبل تعزيز التعاون الاقليمي والأقاليمي استنادا إلى الخبرات المستمدّة من مؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء.

The Committee noted with satisfaction the agreement of the General Assembly that, during its consideration of the matter, the Committee could consider ways to promote regional and interregional cooperation based on experiences stemming from the Space Conference of the Americas and the role that space technology could play in the implementation of recommendations of the World Summit on Sustainable Development.
28- ولاحظت اللجنة بارتياح اتفاق الجمعية العامة على أنه يمكن للجنة، أثناء نظرها في هذه المسألة، أن تنظر في سبل تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي والأقاليمي استنادا إلى الخبرات المستمدة من مؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء وفي الدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه تكنولوجيا الفضاء في تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة.

The Conference had concluded with the adoption of the Pachuca Declaration which, inter alia, called for the creation of a space technical advisory group made up of representatives of space agencies and/or Government agencies responsible for space matters in the countries of the continent, which should provide advisory assistance to the work of the Space Conference of the Americas and its respective pro tempore secretariats.

22- ولاحظت اللجنة بارتياح اتفاق الجمعية على أنه يمكن للجنة، أثناء نظرها في هذه المسألة، أن تنظر في سبل تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي والأقاليمي استنادا إلى الخبرات المستمدة من مؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء وما يمكن لتكنولوجيا الفضاء أن تؤديه من دور في تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة.(1)

To that end, the Committee has a strong relationship with regional and interregional intergovernmental entities and mechanism for coordination and cooperation in space activities, such as the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum, the African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development and the Space Conference of the Americas.
14- ولهذه الغاية، تُقيم اللجنةُ علاقةً قوية بالكيانات والآليات الدولية الحكومية المعنية بالتنسيق والتعاون في الأنشطة الفضائية على الصعيدين الإقليمي والأقاليمي، مثل منظمة التعاون الفضائي لآسيا والمحيط الهادي والملتقى الإقليمي لوكالات الفضاء في آسيا والمحيط الهادي ومؤتمر القيادات الأفريقية بشأن تسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة ومؤتمر القارة الأمريكية المعني بالفضاء.

13. Urges the pro tempore secretariat of the Third Space Conference of the Americas to disseminate this Declaration and the other conclusions of the Conference to bilateral and multilateral forums and organizations;
١٣ - يحث اﻷمين العام المؤقت لمؤتمر اﻷمريكتين الثالث المعني بالفضاء على أن يقوم بتعميم هذا اﻹعلان والاستنتاجات اﻷخرى التي تم استخلاصها على المنتديات والهيئات، الثنائية أو المتعددة اﻷطراف؛

19. Thank the International Support Group for the Fourth Space Conference of the Americas for organizing the Conference, and consider it appropriate for the Group to participate in the same capacity in the work of the pro tempore secretariat;
19- تزجي الشكر لفريق الدعم الدولي الخاص بمؤتمر القارة الأمريكية الرابع المعني بالفضاء على تنظيم المؤتمر، وتعتبر أن من المناسب أن يشارك ذلك الفريق بالصفة نفسها في أعمال الأمانة المؤقتة؛

18. Commend and congratulate the Government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay for the efficient work that it carried out in its capacity of pro tempore secretariat of the Third Space Conference of the Americas, including following up and implementing the activities agreed upon at that Conference, which contributed to the convening of the Fourth Space Conference of the Americas;
