We reaffirm the Special communiqué on terrorism adopted at the Fourteenth Ibero-American Summit and support efforts to extradite or prosecute the perpetrator of the terrorist attack on a Cubana de Aviación aircraft in October 1976, which caused the death of 73 innocent civilians.

At the First Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States and the European Union, held in Santiago, Chile, on 27 and 28 January 2013, a Special communiqué on the necessity of ending the United States economic, commercial and financial embargo against Cuba was issued.

وبالمثل، تجدر الإشارة إلى البيان الخاص الصادر عن مؤتمر قمة رؤساء دول وحكومات جماعة دول أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، الذي انعقد في كاراكاس، في يومي 2 و 3 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2011، الذي نورد منه المقتطفات التالية:

45. We reaffirm the Special communiqué on the total elimination of nuclear weapons adopted at the Caracas Summit on 3 December 2011.

In that context, Peru acknowledged the obligations assumed in a Special communiqué on the Malvinas Islands at the Ibero-American Summit in 2003 and the declaration adopted by the Organization of American States in 2004 on that question.
