(i) Recalling that States Parties to the present Protocol have their own domestic laws and regulations on firearms, ammunition and other related materials and recognizing that this Protocol does not commit States Parties to enacting legislation or regulations pertaining to firearms ownership, possession or trade of a wholly domestic nature and that the States Parties will apply those laws and regulations in a manner consistent with this Protocol,
)ط( واذ تستذكر أن للدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول قوانينها ولوائحها الداخلية الخاصة في مجالات اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة وسائر المعدات ذات الصلة، واذ تسلّم بأن هذا البروتوكول لا يلزم الدول اﻷطراف بسن قوانين أو لوائح بشأن امتلاك اﻷسلحة النارية أو حيازتها أو تداولها على نطاق داخلي محض، وبأن الدول اﻷطراف ستطبق تلك القوانين واللوائح بصورة تتسق مع أحكام هذا البروتوكول،

1. Any State Party may denounce the present Protocol at any time by written notification addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, who shall thereafter inform the other States Parties to the present Protocol and the Convention.
١- يجوز ﻷية دولة طرف أن تنقض هذا البروتوكول في أي وقت بمقتضى إخطار كتابي توجهه إلى اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة الذي يبلغ به بعد ذلك سائر الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول وفي الاتفاقية.

2. Amendments shall come into force when they have been approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations and accepted by a two-thirds majority of the States Parties to the present Protocol in accordance with their respective constitutional processes.
٢ - تصبح التعديلات نافذة عندما توافق عليها الجمعية العامة لﻷمم المتحدة وتقبلها أغلبية ثلثي الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول وفقا للعملية الدستورية لكل منها.

2. An amendment shall come into force when it has been approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations and accepted by a two-thirds majority of the States Parties to the present Protocol in accordance with their respective constitutional processes.
٢- يبدأ سريان التعديل عند اقراره من قبل الجمعية العامة لﻷمم المتحدة والموافقة عليه بأغلبية ثلثي الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول وفقاً للاجراءات الدستورية الخاصة بها.

" States Parties to the present Protocol shall include in the reports they submit to the Committee on the Rights of the Child, in accordance with article 44 of the Convention, information on the measures they have adopted to give effect to the present Protocol.
" تقوم الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول بتضمين التقارير التي تقدمها الى لجنة حقوق الطفل، وفقا للمادة ٤٤ من الاتفاقية، معلومات عن التدابير التي اتخذتها ﻹنفاذ هذا البروتوكول.

1. Any State Party to the present Protocol may propose an amendment and file it with the Secretary-General of the United Nations. The Secretary-General shall thereupon communicate the proposed amendment to the States Parties to the present Protocol with a request that they notify him whether they favour a conference of States Parties for the purpose of considering and voting upon the proposal.
١- ﻷية دولة طرف في هذا البروتوكول، أن تقترح تعديلات وأن تقدمها إلى اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة الذي يقوم، بناء على ذلك، بإخطار الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول بالتعديل المقترح طالباً منها إبلاغه بما اذا كانت توافق على عقد مؤتمر للدول اﻷطراف بهدف النظر في الاقتراح والتصويت عليه.

" 1. States Parties to the present Protocol shall take all feasible and appropriate measures, including legislation, to ensure that children are neither recruited into armed forces nor allowed to participate in hostilities " .
" ١ - تتخذ الدول اﻷطراف في هذا البروتوكول جميع التدابير الممكنة عمليا والمناسبة، بما في ذلك سن التشريعات، لضمان عدم تجنيد اﻷطفال في القوات المسلحة وعدم السماح لهم بالاشتراك في اﻷعمال الحربية " .

There shall be established a Sub-Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment [of the Committee against Torture] [which shall carry out the functions laid down in the present Protocol] (hereinafter referred to as the Sub-Committee); the Sub-Committee shall be responsible for organizing missions to the States Parties to the present Protocol for the purposes stated in article 1.
