7. In line with the provisions of the Security Council resolution, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General will, in the exercise of his or her mandate, provide political leadership and spearhead advocacy efforts in support of the work of United Nations operational partners and support efforts to strengthen coordination within the United Nations system to address sexual violence in conflict.
7 - ووفقا لأحكام قرار مجلس الأمن، سيعمل الممثل الخاص للأمين العام، عند ممارسته لولايته، على توفير القيادة السياسية والاضطلاع بدور طليعي في جهود الدعوة لدعم عمل الشركاء التنفيذيين للأمم المتحدة، ودعم الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز التنسيق داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة للتصدي للعنف الجنسي في حالات النزاع.

It should provide a schedule for the implementation of specific commitments, matched with the necessary resources, strengthen coordination within the United Nations system, and create the necessary conditions to ensure a decent and peaceful life for all mankind.
وذكر أنه يجب ألا تكون خطة التنمية قائمة من التمنيات بل الوجه الثاني لخطة للسلم، أي تقويما لتنفيذ الالتزامات المحددة، مقرونا بوسائل مناسبة من شأنه أن يعزز التنسيق داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وأن يهيئ للبشرية شروطا من العيش الكريم واﻵمن.

٢٥١ - وتطلب اللجنة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يعزز التنسيق داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة بغية تركيز وتوحيد القدر الكبير من اﻹجراءات الدولية المتخذة في ميدان المياه، بما فيها تنفيذ الفصل ١٨ من جدول أعمال القرن ٢١، وأن يقدم تقريرا إلى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.
