While taking note with interest of Ministerial Decision No. 0142, which sets out the special measures to facilitate access to public office by Afro-Ecuadorians, indigenous people and Montubios, the Committee regrets the lack of information on the practical implementation of these special measures to assist such persons (arts. 1 and 6).
