The Committee urges the State party to review the Act on Equal Treatment in order to ensure that anti-discrimination legislation contains a definition of discrimination against women in accordance with article 1 of the Convention, covering all areas of the Convention and explicitly prohibiting sex- and gender-based discrimination, as well as multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination.
