Ms. Wang stressed that it was crucial to provide education from the outset of every humanitarian response. She highlighted that the obligation to ensure children's right to education did not end with individual States, but should also be addressed, when needed, within the framework of international cooperation - yet donors had neglected the right of the child to education in emergency situations, failing to provide the external funding.
