The present report reflects the important developments evident in the implementation of article 27 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, article 30 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Declaration on the Rights of Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities, and with regard to the promotion and protection of minority rights in general.
