The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran presents its compliments to the Embassy of Iraq in Tehran and has the honour to state the following:

Karim Bennani provided as evidence of its alleged losses two letters from the Embassy of Iraq in Rabat.
210- ووفرت شركة " كريم بنّاني " ، كدليل على الخسائر التي تدعي تكبدها، رسالتين بعثت بهما سفارة العراق في الرباط.

Karim Bennani also provided a letter dated 19 December 1992 addressed to it from the Embassy of Iraq in Rabat in which the Embassy acknowledges a " credit balance " in favour of Karim Bennani in the amount of USD 1,238,321.
215- وقدمت الشركة أيضاً رسالة مؤرخة في 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1992 وجهتها إليها سفارة العراق في الرباط وأقرت فيها السفارة بوجود " رصيد دائن " لصالح الشركة قدره 321 238 1 دولاراً.

Moreover, Combustion asserts that further delays were caused by the requirement that the Embassy of Iraq in London legalize each document presented by Combustion in support of its drawings.
كما تؤكد أن اقتضاء تصديق السفارة العراقية في لندن على كل مستند تقدمه لدعم مسحوباتها قد سبب تأخيرات إضافية.

In its original submission, Karim Bennani's calculations were based on its outstanding debt with Iraq, which was acknowledged in correspondence from the Embassy of Iraq in Rabat.

the Embassy of Iraq in Riyadh informed the Ministry of PTT that it was unable to pay the outstanding bills because its bank assets in Saudi Arabia had been frozen, and that the bills would be forwarded to the Iraqi Ministry of Transport to settle.
وأبلغت سفارة العراق في الرياض وزارة البريد والبرق والهاتف أنها عاجزة عن دفع الفواتير المستحقة لأن أرصدتها المصرفية في المملكة العربية السعودية قد جمدت وأن الفواتير ستحال إلى وزارة النقل العراقية لدفعها.

12. Finland submitted a report, dated 15 May 2004, referring to an incident involving premises owned by the Embassy of Iraq in Helsinki, reported earlier (A/INF/56/6, para. 15).

Hence, the Panel only recommends the unpaid portion of the amount owed by Iraq's Ministry of Planning, the Embassy of Iraq in Kuwait and Iraqi Airways that relates to stock, machinery and furniture obtained from the claimant on or after 2 May 1990.
وعلى ذلك يوصي الفريق فقط بالتعويض عن الجزء غير المدفوع من المبلغ المستحق على وزارة التخطيط العراقية وعلى سفارة العراق في الكويت والخطوط الجوية العراقية والذي يتصل بمخزونات بضائع وآلات وأثاث تم الحصول عليها من صاحب المطالبة في 2 أيار/مايو 1990 أو بعد ذلك التاريخ.

24. In a letter dated 2 June 2008, the Permanent Representative of Kuwait informed the High-level Coordinator that the Kuwaiti authorities had received a memo from the Embassy of Iraq in Kuwait concerning the intention of Iraq to return hundreds of radio and television tape recordings that apparently belong to the Kuwaiti archives.
24 - وفي رسالة مؤرخة 2 حزيران/يونيه 2008، أبلغ الممثلُ الدائمُ للكويت المنسقَ الرفيع المستوى أن السلطات الكويتية تلقت مذكرة من سفارة العراق لدى الكويت تتعلق بنية العراق إعادة المئات من أشرطة التسجيلات الإذاعية والتلفزيونية التي يبدو أنها جزء من المحفوظات الكويتية.

Moreover, on 15 July 2007, one of the author's relatives obtained for him a citizenship certificate in Baghdad; on 11 May 2008, the author obtained a copy of his Iraqi passport, issued by the Embassy of Iraq in Vienna and valid until 2016; and when the State party's authorities placed the author under measures of control (surveillance), his wife contacted the Embassy of Iraq in Belgrade and requested assistance.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تمكّن أحد أقرباء صاحب البلاغ في 15 تموز/يوليه 2007 من الحصول على شهادة جنسية باسم صاحب البلاغ مسلمة من السلطات في بغداد. وفي 11 أيار/مايو 2008 حصل صاحب البلاغ على صورة من جواز سفره العراقي الصادر عن سفارة العراق في فيينا والصالح حتى عام 2016؛ وحين وضعت سلطات الدولة الطرف صاحب البلاغ تحت الرقابة، اتصلت زوجته بسفارة العراق في بلغراد طلباً للمساعدة.

3. Germany submitted a report, dated 27 August 2002, referring to an incident involving the Embassy of Iraq in Berlin.
3 - قدمت ألمانيا تقريرا مؤرخا 27 آب/أغسطس 2002 أشارت فيه إلى حادث تعرضت له السفارة العراقية في برلين.

Eben also provided a letter dated 19 December 1992 addressed to it from the Embassy of Iraq in Rabat in which the Embassy acknowledges a “credit balance” in favor of Eben in the amount of US$449,221.
كما أنها قدمت خطاباً مؤرخاً في 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1992 موجهاً إليها من السفارة العراقية في الرباط تشعرها فيه بوجود " رصيد دائن " بمبلغ 221 449 دولاراً لصالح Eben.

On 20 August 2002, five men of Iraqi citizenship armed with a pistol, tear gas and an electric shock device occupied the Embassy of Iraq in Berlin.
في 20 آب/أغسطس 2002، اقتحم خمسة رجال من الرعايا العراقيين المدججين بالبنادق والغاز المسيل للدموع وجهاز خاص لإحداث صدمات كهربائية مبنى السفارة العراقية في برلين واحتلوه.

On 1 May 2001, a group of approximately 50 persons broke into the premises owned by the Embassy of Iraq in Helsinki.
