6. Each Party shall not allow the export of mercury except:

Each Party with primary mercury mining within its territory at the date of entry into force of this Convention for it, or that plans to develop such activities as at that date, shall allow the export of mercury or mercury compounds produced from primary mercury mining only in accordance with the provisions of this Convention.
