At its fortysecond session (1993), the Committee noted the conclusion adopted by the fourth meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies that:

395. Furthermore, the Committee decided to bring its concerns and decisions to the consideration of the fourth meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies.

495. The Committee further considered the recommendations adopted by the fourth meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies in relation to the World Conference and its preparatory process.
