10. In its resolution 984 (X) of 3 December 1955, the General Assembly decided to amend article 12 of the statute of the International Law Commission (ILC) regarding the place of meeting of the Commission, as follows:

At its fiftieth session, under the item entitled " Administrative and budgetary aspects of the financing of the United Nations peacekeeping operations: financing of the United Nations peacekeeping operations " , the General Assembly decided to amend financial regulations 2.1 and 11.4 to reflect the change in the financial period (decision 50/472).
وفي الدورة الخمسين، وفي إطار البند المعنون " الجوانب الإدارية والمتعلقة بالميزانية لتمويل عمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام: تمويل عمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام " ، قررت الجمعية العامة تعديل البندين 2-1 و 11-4 من النظام المالي حتى تعكس التغيير الحاصل في الفترة المالية، (المقرر 50/472).

وفي الدورة الخامسة والخمسين، قررت الجمعية العامة تعديل المادة 1 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة ليكون نصها كالآتي: " تنعقد الجمعية العامة كل سنة في دورة عادية تبدأ يوم الثلاثاء الذي يلي يوم الاثنين الثاني في شهر أيلول/سبتمبر " ؛ كما قررت أن يسري هذا التعديل اعتبارا من عام 2001، (القرار 55/14).
