44. On 17 August 2012 the enforcement branch adopted a final decision, by electronic means, confirming its preliminary finding with respect to Slovakia, namely that Slovakia has in place a national system in accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1, of the Kyoto Protocol and the requirements of the guidelines decided thereunder.
