وإذ تعرب عما يساورها من قلق عميق إزاء إساءة استخدام وسائط الإعلام لتشويه صورة الإسلام والمسلمين والمواطنين في الدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي تحت ذريعة محاربة الإرهاب،

The Conference also supported the efforts made by Member States in Geneva for their common stance on issues of concern and on campaigns to distort the image of Islam as reflected in the resolution of the Human Rights Commission on the issue.

The Conference also supported the efforts made by the Member States in Geneva, which led to a unified position on issues of common concern and on countering the distortion of the image of Islam as evident in the relevant resolution of the Commission on Human Rights.
كما أيد المؤتمر الجهود التي بذلتها الدول الأعضاء في جنيف والتي أفضت إلى توحيد مواقفها إزاء القضايا التي تهمها والتصدي لعملية تشويه صورة الإسلام والتي تجلت في قرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان بهذا الشأن .

3. Requests the Secretary General to highlight the deep concerns of the Member States about some Western media propaganda which aim to distort the image of Islam, Muslims and citizens of the OIC Member States.
3 - تطلب من الأمين العام إبراز ما يساور الدول الأعضاء من قلق عميق إزاء حملات الدعاية التي تشنها وسائط الإعلام الغربية بهدف تشويه صورة الإسلام ومواطني الدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

79. The Conference requested the Secretary-General, through his various activities and visits, to highlight Member States' grave concern over the smear campaign waged by some international media to distort the image of Islam and Muslims and intensify hatred and enmity toward Islam in general.
79 - طلب المؤتمر من الأمين العام من خلال مختلف نشاطاته وزياراته إبراز ما يساور الدول الأعضاء من قلق عميق إزاء حملات الدعاية التي تشنها بعض وسائل الإعلام في العالم بهدف تشويه صورة الإسلام والمسلمين وتنامي ظاهرة كراهية ومعاداة الإسلام عموما.

66. The Conference commended the efforts exerted by the Secretary-General to tackle the campaigns against Islam and Muslims in various Western media organs trying to distort the image of Islam and Muslims in the world.
66 - أثنى المؤتمر على جهود الأمين العام في التصدي للحملات والدعايات المضادة للإسلام والمسلمين في مختلف أجهزة الإعلام الغربية التي تحاول تشويه صورة الإسلام والمسلمين في العالم.

2 - تطلب من الأمين العام العمل من خلال مختلف نشاطاته وزياراته على إبراز ما يساور الدول الأعضاء من قلق عميق إزاء حملات الدعاية التي تشنها بعض وسائط الإعلام في العالم بهدف تشويه صورة الإسلام والمسلمين؛

60. The Saudi and Qatari regimes spread ignorance and extremism and harmed the image of Islam and Arabs throughout the world, suppressed the rights of their own people and served the interests of Israel.
60 - وذكر أن النظامين السعودي والقطري يقومان بنشر الجهل والتطرف والإساءة إلى صورة الإسلام والعرب في جميع أنحاء العالم، وقمع حقوق شعبيهما وخدمة مصالح إسرائيل.

The same subject, with focus on the image of Islam in Western media, as well as the dialogue between civilizations (June 1999), was dealt with by the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, with the participation of UNESCO.

1. Requests the Secretary-General to highlight, through his activities and visits, the deep concern of Member States over the smear campaigns waged by some media organs around the world to tarnish the image of Islam, and the rising phenomenon of Islamophobia in the world, generally.
1 - تطلب من الأمين العام العمل من خلال مختلف نشاطاته وزياراته على إبراز ما يساور الدول الأعضاء من قلق عميق إزاء حملات الدعاية التي تشنها بعض وسائل الإعلام في العالم بهدف تشويه صورة الإسلام والمسلمين وتنامى ظاهرة كراهية ومعاداة الإسلام في العالم عموماً.

27. Mr. Alrashidan (Saudi Arabia) said that the need to eliminate racism, xenophobia and discrimination was highlighted by recent efforts in the media to distort the image of Islam and defame the Prophet Muhammad under the cover of freedom of expression.
27 - السيد الرشدان (المملكة العربية السعودية): قال إن ضرورة القضاء على العنصرية وكراهية الأجانب والتمييز قد برزت من خلال تلك الجهود الأخيرة التي بُذلت في بعض وسائط الإعلام بهدف تشويه صورة الإسلام والمساس بشخصية النبي محمد تحت ستار حرية التعبير.

3. Expresses deep appreciation of the efforts of ISESCO and the activities carried out in order to present clearly the image of Islam in the West, and counter attempts made by several Western media to undermine Islam and its sanctities, especially after the September 11 events. It underlines the good organization of these activities and the academic and scholarly standard of the participants.
3 - يقدر عاليا جهود الإيسيسكو في النشاطات التي نفذتها حول حوار الحضارات وتوضيح صورة الإسلام في الغرب ومواجهة المحاولات التي تشنها عدة وسائل إعلام غربية بهدف الإساءة إلى الدين الإسلامي ومقدساته وبخاصة بعد أحداث 11 سبتمبر، وينوه بحسن تنظيم هذه الأنشطة وبالمستوى الأكاديمي والعلمي للشخصيات المشاركة فيها.
