1. Decides to convene, within existing resources, a panel discussion at its fourteenth session on the issue of protection of journalists in armed conflict;

37. Pursuant to its resolution 13/24, the Council will hold a panel discussion on the issue of protection of journalists in armed conflict.
37- وسيعقد المجلس، عملاً بقراره 13/24، حلقة نقاش حول مسألة حماية الصحفيين في حالات النزاع المسلح.

Recognizing that the consideration of the issue of protection of journalists in armed conflict by the Security Council is based on the urgency and importance of this issue, and recognizing the valuable role that the Secretary-General can play in providing more information on this issue,

By this resolution, the Council decided to address the issue of protection of journalists under the agenda item " protection of civilians in armed conflict " .
وقرّر المجلس، بموجب هذا القرار، أن يتناول مسألة حماية الصحفيين في إطار بند جدول الأعمال المعنون " حماية المدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة " ().

In its resolution, the Council also decided to address the issue of protection of journalists under the agenda item on the protection of civilians in armed conflict, and requested the Secretary-General to include, as a subitem in his reports on protection of civilians in armed conflict, the issue of safety and security of journalists, media professionals and associated personnel.
وقرر المجلس أيضاً، بموجب ذلك القرار، أنه سيتناول مسألة حماية الصحفيين في النزاع المسلح تحت بند جدول الأعمال المعنون " حماية المدنيين في النزاع المسلح " ، وطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يُضمِّن تقاريره القادمة بشأن حماية المدنيين في حالات النزاع المسلح مسألةَ سلامة وأمن الصحفيين وموظفي وسائط الإعلام والأفراد المرتبطين بهم، كبند فرعي().
