In pursuance of resolution 846 (1993), on 24 August 1993 the Secretary-General submitted a further report to the Security Council, 4/ in which he reported on the results of the Arusha peace talks, as well as on the contribution the United Nations could make to assist the OAU in the implementation of the peace agreement.
٢١ - وعملا بالقرار ٦٤٨ )٣٩٩١(، قدم اﻷمين العام إلى مجلس اﻷمن، في ٤٢ آب/اغسطس ٣٩٩١، تقريرا لاحقا)٤( أبلغه فيه بنتائج محادثات أروشا للسلم، وبالمساهمة التي يمكن أن تقدمها اﻷمم المتحدة لمساعدة منظمة الوحدة الافريقية في تنفيذ اتفاق السلم.

16. In paragraph 11 of its resolution 846 (1993) of 22 June 1993, the Security Council had requested the Secretary-General to report on the contribution the United Nations could make to assist the OAU in the implementation of a comprehensive peace agreement between the Government of Rwanda and the RPF and to begin contingency planning in the event that the Council decided such a contribution was needed.
