I write to you as the Coordinator of the Group of Ambassadors of the OIC countries in Geneva on Disarmament and International Security issues.
أكتب إليكم بصفتي منسق مجموعة سفراء بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في جنيف بشأن قضايا نزع السلاح والأمن الدولي.

Created in 2011, the Commission is mandated to advance human rights and support the OIC countries in their efforts to consolidate civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.
وأنيطت هذه اللجنة، التي أنشئت في عام 2011، بالنهوض بحقوق الإنسان ودعم جهود بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في مجال تعزيز الحقوق المدنية والسياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

101. The Conference commended the report of the First Meeting of the OIC Working Group on the 1441 Hijri Vision and urged all the Member States to lend full support to the 1441 Hijri Vision in letter and spirit so as to make science and technology more established and entrenched in order to usher in an era of prosperity in the OIC countries.
101- أشاد المؤتمر بتقرير الاجتماع الأول لفريق عمل منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي للرؤية 1441هـ وحث جميع الدول الأعضاء على تقديم الدعم الكامل للرؤية 1441هـ نصاً وروحاً وذلك حتى تصبح العلوم والتكنولوجيا أكثر تجذراً ورسوخاً حتى يكون ذلك إيذاناً بعهد من الازدهار في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

Welcoming the initiative of Malaysia to establish a Capacity Building Programme in the OIC countries aimed at poverty alleviation in less developed and low income OIC countries;
وإذ يرحب بمبادرة ماليزيا بوضع برنامج لبناء القدرات في البلدان الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي يرمي إلى التخفيف من حدة الفقر في البلدان الأقل نموا وذات الدخل المنخفض الأعضاء في المنظمة،

4. Also appeals to Member States and the Islamic Institutions to grant scholarships to the Kashmiri students in different universities and institutions in the OIC countries.
4 - يناشد الدول الأعضاء والمؤسسات الإسلامية تقديم منح دراسية للطلبة الكشميريين في مختلف الجامعات والمؤسسات في البلدان الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

7. Commends the role played by UNICEF since its establishment for the survival, protection and development of children worldwide, particularly in the developing countries; and especially the ongoing cooperation between the OIC and the UNICEF relating to the child care and protection in the OIC countries.
7 - يشيد بالدور الذي تلعبه منظمة اليونسيف منذ إنشائها في الحفاظ على حياة الأطفال وحمايتهم ونموهم في جميع أنحاء العالم وخاصة في البلدان النامية ولا سيما التعاون القائم حاليا بين منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي واليونسيف في مجال توفير العناية والحماية للأطفال في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

7. Emphasizes also the importance of the economic recovery and the key role of economic revitalization in consolidating peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and invites the economic operators and banks of the OIC countries to investigate the possibilities to take active role in these processes;
7 - يشدد على أهمية الانتعاش الاقتصادي والدور الأساسي الذي يلعبه في تعزيز السلم والاستقرار في المنطقة، ويدعو الفاعلين الاقتصاديين والبنوك في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي إلى استقصاء الإمكانيات اللازمة للاضطلاع بأدوارها في هذه العمليات؛

13. 13 - يشيد بالدور الذي تلعبه منظمة اليونسيف منذ إنشائها في الحفاظ على حياة الأطفال وحمايتهم ونموهم في جميع أنحاء العالم وخاصة في البلدان النامية ولا سيما التعاون القائم حاليا بين منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي واليونسيف في مجال توفير العناية والحماية للأطفال في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

8. 8 - يشدد على أهمية الانتعاش الاقتصادي والدور الأساسي الذي يلعبه في تعزيز السلم والاستقرار في المنطقة، ويدعو الفاعلين الاقتصاديين والبنوك في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي إلى استقصاء الإمكانيات اللازمة للاضطلاع بأدوارها في هذه العمليات.

The background for this difference is obvious and needs no further explanation, although it should be mentioned that some of the concerns of the OIC countries may be met by the application of Art. 1 (4) First Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions (AP1).
وخلفية هذا الفرق واضحة ولا تحتاج إلى المزيد من التفسير، ولكن تجدر الإشارة إلى أن بعض شواغل بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي يمكن تهدئتها عن طريق تطبيق ما تنص عليه المادة 1 (4) من البروتوكول الإضافي الأول الملحق باتفاقيات جنيف.

In that connection, the OIC countries would support a comprehensive strategy that addressed the root causes of terrorism, including unlawful use of force, aggression, foreign occupation, festering international disputes, denial of the right of peoples living under foreign occupation to self-determination, political and economic injustices, and political marginalization and alienation.
وفي هذا الصدد، ستؤيد بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي وضع استراتيجية شاملة تعالج الأسباب الجذرية للإرهاب، بما في ذلك الاستخدام غير القانوني للقوة والعدوان والاحتلال الأجنبي، مما يغذي النـزاعات الدولية وحرمان الشعوب الخاضعة للاحتلال الأجنبي من حقها في تقرير المصير، والظلم السياسي والاقتصادي، والتهميش والاغتراب السياسي.

10. 7. URGENTLY CALLS on the international community, OIC Member States, Islamic philanthropic organizations, the Islamic Development Bank, and the international community to provide multi-year pledges of additional financial resources to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative to combat polio in the OIC countries in 2006 and in 2007;
7 - يوجه دعوة عاجلة إلى المجتمع الدولي والدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي والمنظمات الخيرية الإسلامية والبنك الإسلامي للتنمية إلى تقديم تعهدات متعددة خلال السنة بتوفير موارد مالية إضافية للمبادرة العالمية للقضاء على شلل الأطفال لمكافحة هذا الداء في بلدان منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في عامي 2006 و 2007؛

39 - وأعرب عن تأييد بلدان المنظمة لعقد مؤتمر رفيع المستوى برعاية الأمم المتحدة من أجل صياغة استجابة دولية مشتركة للإرهاب، فضلا عن تأييدها لإنشاء مركز الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الإرهاب.
