12. The meeting requested the OIC Secretary-General to transmit this final communiqué to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Presidents of the Security Council and of the General Assembly, through the OIC Ambassadors Group in New York, for circulation as an official document.

8. His Excellency the OIC Secretary-General delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Ministers and members of delegations participating in the Conference. He expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to H.E. President Seyed Mohammad Khatami of the Islamic Republic of Iran for having graciously opened the 30th Session of the ICFM, and to the Iranian government for hosting this important session on which the Islamic Ummah pins great hopes.
ألقى معالي الأمين العام لمنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي كلمة رحب فيها بالوزراء وأعضاء الوفود المشاركة في المؤتمر، وأعرب عن شكره الجزيل لفخامة الرئيس سيد محمد خاتمي رئيس الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية لتفضله الكريم بافتتاح الدورة الثلاثين للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الخارجية كما تقدم بالشكر للحكومة الإيرانية لاستضافتها لهذا المؤتمر الوزاري الهام الذي تعقد عليه الأمة الإسلامية أمالاً كثيرة.

7. Requests also the Member States to intensify their efforts in the IAEA in order to review the Code of Practice on the International Transboundary Movement of Radioactive Wastes which has been adopted by the IAEA and to update the text of this Code in conformity with the changes which have taken place since its adoption and requests the OIC Secretary-General to make the necessary contacts in this respect with the Director General of the IAEA.
7 - يطلب أيضا من الدول الأعضاء تكثيف جهودها في الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية من أجل مراجعة مدونة السلوك المتعلقة بحركة النفايات المشعة عبر الحدود الدولية والتي اعتمدتها الوكالة وتحديث نصوص مدونتها بما يتفق والتطورات المتصلة بهذا الموضوع منذ اعتماد هذه المدونة، ويطلب من الأمين العام لمنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي إجراء الاتصال اللازم لهذا الغرض مع المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية؛

4. Requests the OIC Secretary-General to consider the possibility of dispatching a delegation to visit Myanmar on a fact finding mission to study the condition of the Muslims of Arakan and also to consider in this connection sending an OIC delegation to Myanmar's neighbouring countries and ASEAN countries to discuss this issue and study adequate modalities aimed at ameliorating their condition.
4 - يطلب من الأمين العام لمنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي دراسة إمكانية إرسال بعثة لتقصي الحقائق إلى ميانمار للإطلاع على أوضاع مسلمي أراكان وإرسال وفد من منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي إلى البلدان المجاورة لميانمار وبلدان رابطة أقطار جنوب شرق آسيا لأجل دراسة الموضوع وإيجاد السبل الكفيلة بتحسين أوضاع المسلمين في ميانمار.

Finally, they requested OIC member States to consider providing financial contributions to the OIC Secretary-General such that they may be transferred as the OIC's contribution to the Peacebuilding Fund.
