29. Accordingly, pursuant to regulation 23, paragraph 5, of the Regulations, the Commission recommends to the Council approval of the plan of work for exploration submitted by Companhia de Pesquisa de Recursos Minerais.

Many delegations requested the Commission, in its report and recommendations to the Council relating to an application for a plan of work for exploration, accompanied by a certificate of sponsorship, to indicate whether the sponsoring State has adopted a domestic regulatory framework governing the plan of work for exploration or is developing such framework.
