In his foreword, the Prime Minister of Mongolia highlighted that the conclusions and recommendations contained in the Human Development Report were of great value for the country, in that they highlighted how Mongolia could strengthen, and move forward with, its progress and achievements in human development, especially as it had stepped on the new path of resource-based dynamic development.

14. The Secretary-General has been paying particular attention to dialogue with Mongolia's leadership on various issues pertaining to the implementation of General Assembly resolution 55/33 S. In his meetings with the Prime Minister of Mongolia in November 2001 and its Foreign Minister in September 2000, the Secretary-General praised the Government for its efforts to consolidate democracy and economic reform.
14 - ما فتئ الأمين العام يولي اهتماما خاصا للحوار مع قيادة منغوليا بشأن تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة 55/33 قاف. وقام الأمين العام، في اجتماعاته مع رئيس وزراء منغوليا في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2001 ووزير خارجيتها في أيلول/ سبتمبر 2000، بالثناء على الحكومة إزاء ما تبذله من جهود لتوطيد الديمقراطية وإصلاح الاقتصاد.

According to the provisions of Law on Patents, law on Copyright and other related rights, Law on the Trademarks that protect intellectual rights, orders of the Prime Minister of Mongolia of April 12, 2006 and order # 59 of July 3, 2006 declared protection of copyright of works by persons with disabilities and made them exempt from fees for related service.
201- وطبقاً للأحكام الواردة في القانون المتعلق بالبراءات والقانون المتعلق بحقوق النشر وغيرها من الحقوق ذات العلاقة والقانون المتعلق بالعلامات التجارية التي تحمي الملكية الفكرية نصت الأوامر الصادرة عن رئيس وزراء منغوليا في 12 نيسان/أبريل 2006 والأمر رقم 59 الصادر في 3 تموز/يوليه 2006 على حماية حقوق التأليف للأعمال التي ينجزها ذوو الإعاقة وأعفتهم من الرسوم التي توظف على الخدمات ذات الصلة.

وعلى نحو ما ذكر رئيس وزراء منغوليا في تصدير التقرير، فإن " الاستنتاجات والتوصيات الواردة في التقرير تنطوي على قيمة عظمى لمنغوليا فيما يخص تعزيز تقدمها وإنجازاتها في مجال التنمية البشرية وسُبل المضي قدما فيهما، ولا سيما في هذا التوقيت الذي تخطو فيها منغوليا أولى خطواتها في المسار الجديد للتنمية الدينامية القائمة على الموارد " .
