The Committee encourages the State party to request accreditation of the National Human Rights Commission by the International Coordinating Committee of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, in order to ensure that it complies with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, including with regard to its independence.

I. PRESENTATION OF the principles relating to the status of NATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

11. Welcomes the principles relating to the status of national institutions, annexed to the present resolution;

4. When establishing national preventive mechanisms, States Parties shall give due consideration to the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights.

(h) To ensure the independence of the National Human Rights Commission in accordance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights annexed to General Assembly resolution 48/134 of 20 December 1993;

The basic requirement is that any institution should comply with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, the " Paris Principles " (General Assembly resolution 48/134, annex).

The need to establish a set of principles or guidelines for the establishment and effectiveness of such commissions led to the preparation of the principles relating to the status of national institutions, known also as the Paris Principles.

The Committee emphasized that national human rights institutions should be established in compliance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the protection and promotion of human rights, known as the Paris Principles.
فقد أكدت اللجنة أن المؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان ينبغي إقامتها وفقا للمبادئ المتعلقة بوضع المؤسسات الوطنية من أجل حماية حقوق الإنسان وتعزيزها، والمعروفة باسم مبادئ باريس.

Recalling the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, as contained in the annex to General Assembly resolution 48/134 of 20 December 1993, and recognizing the need for their continued dissemination,
وإذ تشير الى المبادئ المتصلة بمركز المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق اﻹنسان، بصيغتها الواردة في مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/١٣٤ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، وإدراكا منها للحاجة الى نشرها المستمر،

Latvia was one of the first countries in Eastern Europe to have done so in line with the Vienna Declaration and the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, set out in the annex to General Assembly resolution 48/134.
وكانت ليتوانيا من أول بلدان أوروبا الشرقية التي فعلت ذلك وفقا لمبادئ إعلان فيينا والمبادئ المتعلقة بمركز المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق اﻹنسان )قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/١٣٤(.

4. NHRIs should be established in compliance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights (the " Paris Principles " ) adopted by the General Assembly in 1993 transmitted by the Commission on Human Rights in 1992.
4- وينبغي إنشاء المؤسسات الوطنية المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان بصورة تتمشى مع المبادئ ذات الصلة بمركز المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان ( " مبادئ باريس " ) التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة في عام 1993(2).

Lastly, she urged the Government to establish an independent national human rights institution in accordance with the principles relating to the status of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights.
وختاما حثت الحكومة على إنشاء مؤسسة وطنية مستقلة لحقوق الإنسان وفقا للمبادئ المتعلقة بحالة المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان.

It encouraged Angola to create a national human rights institution in accordance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights (Paris Principles).
وشجع أنغولا على إنشاء مؤسسة وطنية لحقوق الإنسان وفقاً لمبادئ باريس المتعلقة بمركز المؤسسات الوطنية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها (مبادئ باريس).

The Committee urges the State party to speed up the process for the establishment of a national human rights institution in accordance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights (Paris Principles, General Assembly resolution 48/134).

12. Uzbekistan had also established the National Human Rights Centre, whose activities were fully in line with the principles relating to the status of National Institutions (the Paris Principles).

It encouraged Saint Kitts and Nevis to raise the status of the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights (Paris Principles).
وشجعت سانت كيتس ونيفس على تحسين مركز مكتب أمين المظالم بما يتفق والمبادئ المتعلقة بوضع المؤسسات الوطنية الخاصة بتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان (مبادئ باريس).
