With some limitations due to the number of reports submitted and to the coherence and the completeness of data, the Committee, at its eleventh session, was successful in assessing the progress made by Parties to the Convention in achieving the operational objectives of the strategy since the year 2008, through an analysis of trends against the 18 performance indicators.

At its twenty-fifth session, the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) requested the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) to convene a meeting, with the assistance of the secretariat, to take stock of the progress made by Parties in the preparation and implementation of national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs).

In this mandate, the COP requested the LEG, in addition to working under the original terms of reference contained in the annex to decision 29/CP.7, to develop a work programme that took into account the results of the LEG stocktaking meeting on the progress made by Parties in the preparation and implementation of NAPAs, and the results of the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change.
وفي هذه الولاية طلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الفريق أن يضع، إضافة إلى امتثاله للاختصاصات الأصلية الواردة في مرفق المقرر 29/م أ-7، برنامج عمل يراعي نتائجَ اجتماع الفريق المخصص لتقييم التقدم الذي أحرزته الأطراف في إعداد وتنفيذ برامج العمل الوطنية للتكيف()، ونتائجَ برنامج عمل نيروبي المتعلق بتأثيرات تغير المناخ وقابلية التأثر به والتكيف معه.

The SBI noted with appreciation the progress made by Parties in planning and implementing activities relating to Article 6 in accordance with the New Delhi work programme, and recognized that:
51- ولاحظت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ مع التقدير ما أحرزته الأطراف من تقدم في سياق تخطيط وتنفيذ الأنشطة ذات الصلة بالمادة 6 وفقاً لبرنامج عمل نيودلهي، وسلّمت بما يلي:
