The view was expressed that activities in outer space, including those related to satellite products, which were making a substantial contribution to the well-being and socio-economic development of humankind, should be carried out in a manner compatible with the sovereign rights of States, including the principle of non-intervention, as enshrined in the relevant United Nations instruments.
