The CHAIRMAN said that he would thus take it that the Committee wished to take note of the report contained in document A/C.5/49/67, to welcome the efforts of the Secretary-General in the implementation of procurement reform in the United Nations Secretariat, and to welcome also the intention of the Secretary-General to submit a comprehensive report on the matter to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session.
