In the resolution, the General Assembly calls upon all States to respect international standards that provide safeguards guaranteeing protection of the rights of those facing the death penalty, and requests States to provide the Secretary-General with information in that regard.

1- دعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء، في قرارها 58/136 المؤرخ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، إلى تزويد الأمين العام بمعلومات عن طبيعة الصلات بين الإرهاب وسائر أشكال الجريمة بغية زيادة التآزر في تقديم المساعدة التقنية.

11. Invites Member States to provide the Secretary-General with information on the nature of links between terrorism and other forms of crime in order to increase synergies in the delivery of technical assistance by the Centre, and requests the Secretary-General to include an analysis of such information in his report on the implementation of the present resolution;
