Having considered the report of the Administrator on the Standing Committee for Programme Matters (DP/1991/4),

2. Decides that the membership of the Standing Committee for Programme Matters shall be composed of all members of the Governing Council and that deliberations of the Committee shall be open to all participants in the Programme;

1. the Standing Committee for Programme Matters held an in-sessional meeting during the fortieth session of the Governing Council convened in New York from 1 to 18 June 1993.
١ - عقدت اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية اجتماعـا أثنـاء انعقــاد الدورة اﻷربعين لمجلس الادارة في نيويــورك فـي الفتـرة مـن ١ إلـى ١٨ حزيـران/يونيــه ١٩٩٣.

However, following the first annual review of the country programme in 1991, the Government and UNDP agreed to streamline the country programme to contain eight priority programme areas, following the concerns expressed in the Standing Committee for Programme Matters to achieve a more manageable concentration.
غير أنه بعد الاستعراض السنوي اﻷول للبرنامج القطري الذي أجري في عام ١٩٩١، اتفقت الحكومة مع برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي على تبسيط البرنامج القطري بحيث يشمل ٨ مجالات برمجة ذات أولوية، بعد أن أعربت اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية عن بعض أوجه القلق، بهدف تسهيل معالجة التركيز.

4. Decides that the Standing Committee for Programme Matters shall work within the framework of procedures of the Governing Council, in a similar manner to the Budgetary and Finance Committee, taking into account, inter alia, the latter's practice with respect to the organization of work, the preparation of decisions, as well as the reporting of the plenary meetings of the Council;
٤ - يقرر أن تعمل اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية في اطار اجراءات مجلس اﻹدارة وذلك على منوال لجنة الميزانية والمالية، مع مراعاة أمور من بينها الممارسة التي تتبعها تلك اللجنـة بالنسبة لتنظيم اﻷعمال وإعداد المقررات وكذلك بالنسبة لتقديم التقارير الى الجلسات العامة للمجلس؛

9. Decides that the Standing Committee for Programme Matters, in selecting the participants for these field visits, shall take into account the equitable representation of the membership of the Governing Council and shall invite the participants to participate actively in the preparation of the visits and in the work of the Committee during the presentation of the findings of the field visits;
٩ - يقرر أن تأخذ اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية في اعتبارها، عند اختيارها للمشاركين في تلك الزيارات الميدانية التمثيل العادل ﻷعضاء مجلس اﻹدارة، وأن تدعو المشاركين الى الاشتراك فعليا في إعداد الزيارات وفي أعمال اللجنة خلال عرض نتائج الزيارات الميدانية؛

14. Decides that the programme of work of the Standing Committee for Programme Matters for 1991 shall be decided in the course of its first meeting during the special session of the Governing Council and shall include an inter-sessional meeting in May and a first series of field visits to take place in the second half of 1991;
٤١ - يقرر أن يبت في تحديد برنامج عمل اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية لعام ١٩٩١ في اجتماعها اﻷول الذي سيعقد خلال الدورة الاستثنائية لمجلس اﻹدارة وأن يشمل ذلك البرنامج اجتماعا يعقد بين الدورات في شهر أيار/مايو ومجموعة أولى من الزيارات الميدانية تجرى في النصف اﻷخير من عام ١٩٩١؛

Approves the fifth country programme for the United Republic of Tanzania on the understanding that the Administrator will submit a report to the Governing Council at its forty-first session (1994) on the advancement of the programme in the light of comments made by the Standing Committee for Programme Matters at its in-session meeting held during the fortieth session of the Council;
يوافق على البرنامج القطري الخامس لجمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة على أن يقدم مدير البرنامج تقريرا الى مجلس اﻹدارة في دورته الحادية واﻷربعين )١٩٩٤( بشأن التقدم المحرز في البرنامج على ضوء التعليقات التي أدلت بها اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية في اجتماعها المنعقد خلال الدورة اﻷربعين للمجلس؛

7. Decides that, for information purposes, the Standing Committee for Programme Matters, in accordance with its mandate and programme of work, shall request the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme and the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund to arrange and service up to four field visits per year, each for an average of six members of the Governing Council;
٧ - يقرر أن تطلب اللجنة الدائمة للمسائل البرنامجية من مدير برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي والمدير التنفيذي لصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة للسكان، ﻷغراض العلم ووفقا لولايتها وبرنامج عملها، أن يعملا على وضع الترتيبات وتقديم الخدمات لعدد يصل إلى أربع زيارات ميدانية في السنة، بحيث يقوم بكل زيارة ستة من أعضاء مجلس اﻹدارة، في المتوسط؛
