1. Establishes the Committee on Transport of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, which will be made up of representatives of the States members of the Commission that specialize in the field of transport and will undertake the following tasks:
١ - ينشئ لجنة للنقل تابعة للجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا، تتكون من ممثلين عن الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة متخصصين في ميدان النقل وتقوم بالمهام التالية:

(a) Participation in the identification of the priorities and concerns of the States members of the Commission in the field of multilateral trade agreements and negotiations;
)أ( المشاركة في تحديد أولويات واهتمامات الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة في مجال الاتفاقات والمفاوضات التجارية متعددة اﻷطراف،

3. Invites the Governments of the States members of the Commission to take this opportunity to formulate a new vision and define the role and tasks of the Commission in line with regional and world developments in the coming century;
٣ - يدعو حكومات الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة إلى أن تغتنم هذه الفرصة لصياغة رؤية جديدة تحدد دور اللجنة ومهامها بما ينسجم والتطورات اﻹقليمية والعالمية في القرن القادم؛

(a) Participation in the identification of the priorities and concerns of the States members of the Commission in the field of multilateral trade agreements and negotiations;

٦ - عقد الفريق العامل المعني بالتجارة الالكترونية ، المؤلف من جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة ، دورته الثانية والثلاثين في فيينا من ٩١ الى ٠٣ كانون الثاني/يناير ٨٩٩١ .

1. Decides to establish, within existing resources, a Committee on Energy within the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, made up of representatives of the States members of the Commission who are specialists in the field of energy, which will undertake the following tasks:
١ - يقرر إنشاء لجنة للطاقة داخل اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا، في حدود الموارد القائمة، تكون مكونة من ممثلي الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة الاخصائيين في ميدان الطاقة، وتضطلع اللجنة بالمهام التالية:

1. Decides to establish, within existing resources, a Committee on Water Resources within the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, made up of representatives of the States members of the Commission who are specialists in the field of water resources, which will undertake the following tasks:
١ - يقرر إنشاء لجنة لموارد المياه داخل اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا، في حدود الموارد القائمة، تكون مكونة من ممثلي الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة الاخصائيين في ميدان موارد المياه، وتضطلع اللجنة بالمهام التالية:

٢١ - ويتألف الفريق العامل المعني بالتجارة الالكترونية من جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة ، وقد عقد دورته الخامسة والثلاثين في فيينا في الفترة من ٦ الى ٧١ أيلول/سبتمبر ٩٩٩١ .

(b) Monitoring of international developments in world trade negotiations and the creation and development of economic and trade blocs, and coordination of the positions of the States members of the Commission with respect thereto;
)ب( رصد التطورات الدولية في مفاوضات التجارة العالمية، وفي قيام التكتلات الاقتصادية والتجارية اﻷخرى وتطورها، وتنسيق مواقف الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة منها،

352. It was noted with appreciation that upon completion of a comprehensive review of the ECLAC programme of work and operations, undertaken by the States members of the Commission in the light of General Assembly resolution 57/300 and the Millennium Declaration, the Commission had reoriented its work programme to focus on three priority areas and had found 37 outputs of marginal utility, especially in the area of technical cooperation.
352 - ولوحظ، مع التقدير، أنه عند إنجاز استعراض شامل لبرنامج عمل اللجنة والعمليات التي اضطلعت بها الدول أعضاء اللجنة في ضوء قرار الجمعية العامة 57/300 والإعلان بشأن الألفية من جانب الدول أعضاء اللجنة، فإن اللجنة قد أعادت توجيه برنامج عملها كيما يركز على ثلاثة مجالات من المجالات ذات الأولوية، وتبين لها أن 37 ناتجا من النواتج تتسم بفائدة هامشية ولا سيما في مجال التعاون التقني.

1. Establishes the Technical Committee on Liberalization of Foreign Trade and Economic Globalization in the Countries of the ESCWA Region, which will be made up of representatives of the States members of the Commission that specialize in this field and will undertake the following tasks:
١ - ينشئ لجنة فنية للاهتمام بقضايا تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية في بلدان اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا تتألف من ممثلين للدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة متخصصين في هذا المجال وتتولى القيام بالمهام التالية:
