14. At its 1070th meeting, held on 27 February 1995, the Committee decided to conduct a general debate on the subject of racial discrimination.

Bearing in mind the indivisibility of all human rights, the Committee encourages the State party to consider ratifying those international human rights treaties which it has not yet ratified, in particular treaties the provisions of which have a direct bearing on the subject of racial discrimination.
18- واللجنة، إذ تضع في اعتبارها عدم قابلية جميع حقوق الإنسان للتجزئة، تشجع الدولة الطرف على النظر في التصديق على المعاهدات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان التي لم تصدق عليها بعد، ولا سيما المعاهدات التي تؤثر أحكامها بصورة مباشرة في موضوع التمييز العنصري.

It would like to mention, however, that the report does not focus enough on the subject of racial discrimination and does not contain sufficient statistical information to allow the Committee to achieve a real understanding of the situation of indigenous communities or persons of African descent in the State party.
غير أن اللجنة تلاحظ أن التقرير لا يركز بما يكفي على مسألة التمييز العنصري ولا يتضمن بيانات إحصائية كافية تمكّن اللجنة من الإلمام الكامل بحالة المجتمعات الأصلية، أو الأشخاص المنحدرين من أصلي أفريقي في الدولة الطرف.

16) وإذ تضع اللجنة في الاعتبار أن حقوق الإنسان كل لا يتجزأ، فإنها تشجع الدولة الطرف على النظر في التصديق على معاهدات حقوق الإنسان التي لم تصدق عليها بعد، ولا سيما المعاهدات التي لأحكامها علاقة مباشرة بمسألة التمييز العنصري مثل الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم (1990).
