قامت دورية من قوات العدو الإسرائيلي بتاريخ 18 كانون الثاني/يناير 2011 باجتياز السياج التقني وانتهاك الخط الأزرق والعبور إلى داخل الأراضي اللبنانية حيث قامت بنصب كمين في منطقة تقع على بعد ستة أمتار شمال الخط الأزرق وتعود إلى خراج بلدة رميش اللبنانية وقد وقع المواطن اللبناني شربل الخوري ضحية هذا الكمين إذ عمدت قوات العدو الإسرائيلي إلى اختطافه إلى داخل الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة.
