The financial requirements for the third session of the CRIC are estimated at US$ 250,000, as already indicated in table 8.

First segment 21. Following the provisions contained in decision 9/COP.6, it is proposed that the third session of the CRIC be divided into two segments.

Consequently, the Parties as of the opening of the third session of the CRIC on 2 May 2005 will be the States and regional economic integration organizations that would have deposited their instruments by 2 February 2005.

3. Under decision 9/COP.6, the programme of work of the third session of the CRIC must include a review of the reports submitted by affected African country parties.

7. Constraints arising from this schedule led to the postponement of the third session of the CRIC from October 2004 to spring 2005.

Two working groups were set up to consider the seven priority themes addressed in the presentations and to draft conclusions and recommendations which were to serve as the Central Africa subregion's contribution to the third session of the CRIC.

D. Attendance 14. Representatives of the following 130 Parties to the UNCCD attended the third session of the CRIC:

27. The normal working hours of the third session of the CRIC will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The tentative schedule aims to make the best use of the facilities available during normal working hours.
27- سوف تكون ساعات العمل الاعتيادية في الدورة الثالثة للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية من الساعة 00/10 إلى الساعة 00/13 ومن الساعة 00/15 إلى الساعة 00/18. ويهدف الجدول الزمني المؤقت إلى الاستفادة على أفضل وجه من التسهيلات المتاحة أثناء ساعات العمل الاعتيادية.

27. In the event that the third session of the CRIC would be held in Bonn, an amount of US$ 250,000 would be required to cover costs relating to logistical arrangements, including renting of the conference venue, installation of communication systems and contracting of local conference staff.

It was further clarified that the third session of the CRIC would be dedicated to a review of the Annex I (Africa) national reports.

77. The GoE concluded that comments from members should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the GoE who would compile a synthesis and, in consultation with the Chairperson of the CST, make this information available to the Parties during the third session of the CRIC in May 2005.

70. In the report made avilable, the World Bank indicated that it provided US$ 700,000 for preparation of the national reports by affected African country Parties to the UNCCD to be submitted to the third session of the CRIC.
70- أوضح البنك الدولي، في التقرير الذي أتاحه، أنه قدم مبلغاً قدره 000 700 دولار لإعداد التقارير الوطنية للبلدان الأفريقية المتأثرة الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر التي ستقدَّم إلى الدورة الثالثة للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية.

This process has been enriched by the lessons- learned, the dynamics of the CRIC sessions and the exchange of ideas, suggestions and proposals offered by various participants during the third session of the CRIC 3.
